Simon started his formal Construction career in 1983 when he attended South Bank University and achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Construction Management.Since then, he has worked across the UK on a number of high profile projects – including the Channel Tunnel and the Library of Birmingham. A focus on high rise construction started in the late 1990's with his involvement in a number of projects in Cardiff and Swansea before moving to Birmingham in early 2000 and becoming involved in high rise projects for Aston University and Moda Living.

Simon's career initially followed a commercial path and he became a Commercial Director for Carillion in London in the mid 1990's before moving to Operations as the Regional Director responsible for the Midlands and South West region in 2002.

Simon joined Sisk in 2018 as the Regional Director responsible for core activities in Birmingham and the Midlands

Simon's wider business focus is as a keen supporter of people; from his FRICS and FCIOB support and development responsibilities to his wider role and passion for driving the Skills, Employment and Apprentice agenda in Birmingham and the Midlands

Simon lives in Oxfordshire and has two daughters – who try to ensure that he remains both current in his outlook as well as fairly up to date with his fashion sense.
